Read MoreBased in Canada, Dr. James Frizzell has owned and operated Frizzell Dental for over 20 years. Through this family cosmetic and dental practice, he serves patients in Niagara Falls, Ontario; Welland; St. Catharines; and Niagara-on-the-Lake. He has built his career around providing consistent dental care to individuals and families in these communities. In addition to his clinical work, he is committed to advocacy and education focused on addressing abuse and human trafficking. He continues to balance his dental responsibilities with broader efforts that support vulnerable individuals.
Frizzell studied at the University of Toronto, where he earned a BSc in Organic/Inorganic Chemistry and later completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During his time in the Department of Chemistry, he received an NSERC scholarship under the supervision of Professor Robert Morris. His research, along with that of his colleagues, was published in the Journal of Organometallic Chemistry. This academic foundation shaped his analytical approach to dentistry and forensic work.
In 1997, he attended FaithWay Baptist College in Ajax, Ontario, and earned a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies. Years later, in 2019, he completed a degree in Dental Forensics at McGill University. Alongside his formal education, he has pursued many additional courses. These include mental health and suicide skill training, digital crime scene photography, a civil litigation workshop, strangulation prevention, and other related subjects. His continued study reflects a steady commitment to professional growth and service.
